Milwaukee County Parks Director, Sue Black, is a dog lover.  Here’s a bit about Ranger, a Smooth Jack Russell terrier.

My human spoils me with:  Sue says: Most any food from my plate and beer in the summer!
  
Ranger sleeps in the bed since I brought her home in 1999!
  
Ranger says her favorite activity is: playing with my cat friend Lily and my new friend Wrigley.  I also enjoy chasing squirrels and hanging out with my mom in the backyard in the summer.
  
Anything else we should know?  Ranger is the Milwaukee County Parks mascot. She is featured in literature, on the website, etc.  Most people recognize Ranger before me! Many people ask me why I named my female dog "Ranger" and I reply "Girls can be Rangers too--look at me!"
